Origin/meaning

The arms were proposed in 1994, I have no idea whether the municipality actually adopted these arms.

The arms are based on the arms of the d'Orville family, Lords of the village. They used in a black field with a golden free quarter, a silver lion. In the above proposal the lion is replaced by a crosier, for the abbey of St. Michel in Doullens, which had many possessions in the area.
