In Silber ein mit den Ästen nach links weisender durchgehender gestümmelter schwarzer Astbalken, darüber zwei, darunter ein grüner Glasbecher.

Origin/meaning

The municipality was created in 1824 and had no seal or arms until 1930 when the above arms were devised. The arms symbolise the glass industry and the coal mining, which played a major role in the development of the village. The arms were granted on April 7, 1959.
