History: First formed in 1943 at Naval Air Station Quonset Point, Rhode Island, USA for Fleet Air Arm Training.

English Blue; a foul anchor erect in gold in fornt of a flash of lightning in bend white over all surmounted by a Pegasus courant also white .

Motto: Parare bellum

Origin/meaning

The Pegsus is the emblem of US Naval Aviation and indicate formation in the USA. The Latin Motto translates as "Prepare for war". The Badge ws approved in 1944.
