MÜHLBACH

State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Heilbronn (until 1973 Sinsheim)
Incorporated into : 1972 Eppingen

Wappen von Mühlbach (Eppingen)/Arms (crest) of Mühlbach (Eppingen)
Official blazon
German In Silber über erniedrigtem blauem Wellenbalken ein rotes achtschaufliges Mühlrad.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 20, 1895.

The arms are canting, showing a water-mill wheel (mill=Mühle) and a wavy blue bar (Bach=river, brook). The arms were designed in 1895, as older seals of the village only showed the letters MB. The colours are those of the former Bretten district of the Pfalz, to which the village belonged until 1803.
