Official blazon
French

Origin/meaning

The cross and snails are taken from the arms of the Lassaut family, lords of Molay in the 16th century.

The central seal is the seal of the Order of the Temple. Jacques de Molay, who was born in this village, was the last grand master of the Order. He perished at the stake in 1314.
