512TH LOGISTICS READINESS SQUADRON, US AIR FORCE

History: Constituted as 512 Motor Vehicle Squadron on 8 September 1950. Activated in the Reserve on 16 October 1950. Ordered to active service on 15 March 1951. Inactivated on 1 April 1951. Activated in the Reserve on 14 June 1952. Redesignated as 512 Transportation Squadron on 8 October 1956. Ordered to active service on 28 October 1962. Relieved from active duty on 28 November 1962. Discontinued, and inactivated, on 11 February 1963. Redesignated as 512 Logistics Readiness Flight on 4 September 2002. Activated in the Reserve on 1 October 2002. Redesignated as 512 Logistics Readiness Squadron on 11 February 2011.
