State : Oberösterreich

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 25, 1974.

The iron crafts of Steinbach have been the most important source of work in the town for many centuries. First mentioned in 1422, there were 183 smithies in the town in 1775. This is symbolised in the arms.
