Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 23, 1997.

The windmill is a canting element (Mühle) and refers to the former large mill in the village. The mill was already part of the previous seal of the municipality. The two diamonds refer to the amber found in the area and the base shows the Mulde river.
