Origin/meaning

The arms are quartered by the silver cross of Savoy.

The first quarter shows the arms of the Allonzier family, dating from the 14th century. The second quarter shows the famous Charles Albert bridge in the municipality.
The third quarter shows the arms of Cruseilles, to which the area historically belonged and the fourth quarter shows the arms of the Angeville family, which owned the castle in Allonzier until 1765.
