Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in April 2021.

The right half shows the arms of the Creuse département. The paschal lamb is the attribute of Saint John the Baptist, the local patron saint. The green color refers to agriculture and the wavy bar in chief to the Ardour which runs through the town.
