Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on January 6, 1995.
The village developed along a small stream (the Hopfengartenbach) lined with linden trees. This is symbolised in the arms by a linden branch and a bridge. Many original houses are connected to the road by a small bridge over the stream.
