Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on August 16, 1996.
The chief or ermine, a royal symbol, refers to the fact that the lands in the parish were historically owned by the King. The bridge refers to the Roman settlements in the area. The green of the shield refers to the importance of agriculture.
