Origin/meaning

The above arms were adopted in 1912. Previously the village council used a latter W in its seals. The arms show in the upper part a village as a canting symbol (Dorf). The lower part shows the arms of the Counts of Tübingen. Weilimdorf was sold by the latter to Württemberg in 1308. As the municipality did not state the colours properly in 1912, several images are known with different colours in the upper part. The municipality itself used the above colours.
