Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 9, 1962.

The arms are a combination of the lion of the arms of the Wild- or Rheingrafen, to whom the village historically belonged, and in the base an oak leaf and three acorns. The latter refer to the old oak tree in the village, a protected natural document.
