FRHAM
State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Mühldorf am Inn
Incorporated into : 1970 Taufkirchen
Official blazon
Gespalten von Silber und Rot, vorne vierreihiges blaues Wolkenfeh, hinten ein silbernes Flammenschwert mit goldenem Griff und goldener Parierstange.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 17, 1964
The right part with the 'cloudy' lines is taken from the arms of the Au am Imm Abbey, to which most of the village historically belonged. The flaming sword is the symbol of St. Michael, patron saint of the Mattsee Convent, which also had several possessions in the area.
