" Van lazuur beladen met 3 dokkenbladen, staande 2 en 1, die ter regter boven zijde van keel, die ter linker boven zijde van sijnople en de onderste van zilver."

II : 3 augustus 1968

" Van zilver beladen met 3 meerbladen van sabel. Het schild gedekt met een gouden kroon van 3 bladeren en 2 paarlen."

Wapen van Bloemendaal

Oorsprong/verklaring :
Het wapen is afgeleid van het wapen van de familie van Tetterode, die in Bloemendaal een jachtslot bezaten. De familie voerde 3 zilveren bladeren op een veld van sabel; het tweede wapen is dus een verbetering van het eerste wapen.

De drie bladeren zouden bovendien de 3 dorpen uit de gemeente, Bloemendaal, Overveen en Vogelenzang, kunnen symboliseren. Van den Bergh noemt een 18e eeuws zegel met daarop het schild met de 3 plompebladeren en als randschrift (Bloemendaal) Tetterode, Aalbertsberg en Vogelesang.
